Playful Layers is a kindergarten organized through overlapping gable volumes of different scales. The resulting corridors, voids, niches, and hidden rooms respond to children’s bodies and movements while encouraging spaces to be interpreted beyond a single assigned function.

Rather than prescribing fixed activities, the project creates a layered environment in which circulation can become play, a narrow void can become a hideout, and an overlap between volumes can become a place for discovery. Architecture operates as an open framework for imagination, movement, and child-led occupation.
